In the village ferias (local fairs) are held 3 or 4 times a year, there

and cafes. The next town is 5 kms away and has a weekly farmers market ,
several larger ferias a year, a diverse range of shops, banks , a major
supermarket, dentists, heath centre, vets etc and then within 20 minutes
drive is a major city with everything you could possibly want and plenty
of shopping malls.
Locally within 5 kms there is fishing, a country park, horseriding,
flying club, rifle club, a country club with a very good restaurant,
skiing, mountain climbing is 45 minutes and Spain is only 60 kms away.
Culturally we are close to museums and historic castles and villages.
The roads are easy to drive with very little traffic, it really is a
fantastic laid back lifestyle in the sun.
The park is within easy driving distance to Bilbao and Santander
(regular sailings to and from England) we are under 2 hours from Lisbon
airport with many uk flights. Lisbon is easily reached (as is the rest
of Portugal) by a fast and reliable train and coach services with
stops~stations nearby.
The bungalow is mains electric and mains water which are charged at cost
both services have very reasonable rates.
