The River Tamar almost completely divides Devon from Cornwall. The river is the boundary between both countries. At Saltash two famous bridges span the river providing the only links between the southern coasts of Devon and Cornwall. Some of Cornwall's finest houses and gardens can be found here: Port Elliot at St.Germans, Anthony House north east of Anthony, Mount Edgcumbe House near Cremyll. |
