Trematon Castle on the edge of the town of Saltash watches over this sleepy village of Forder, set on the river Lynher. Designated a Conservation area and area of outstanding natural   beauty people now visit for recreation purposes.

Angling

Looe is the centre for shark fishing, and fully equipped boats can be hired. There is good fishing on the Fowey Estuary. 

Sailing

There is good sailing to be had at Looe, Polperro and Fowey. Fowey and Polperro have regattas in Aug, Polperro in mid-July.
