Piddletrenthide Dorset

 

 
 

Piddletrenthide has yellow stone houses scattered for a mile along the base of the deep, narrow base of the beautiful Piddle Valley. There are wonderful views of the stream and houses from the numerous bridges spanning the Piddle. 

The church at the northern end, has one of Dorset's best Towers, which is graphically gargoyled. Inside it has some pleasant wall monuments.
