Bovey Tracey  Devon

Bovey Tracey, one of the main gateway towns to Dartmoor, with a number of unique visitor attractions and a good mixture of shops. The Devon Guild of Craftsmen  is to be found in the 19th century Riverside Mill, a prestigious centre for creative art; that provides a base for many exciting exhibitions. The town plays host to a successful farmers’ market on alternate Saturday mornings where you can buy fresh produce.

Just off the A38 north of Newton Abbot Bovey Tracey is conveniently located on the edge of Dartmoor National Park and a number of walks
originate from the town. Close by the town is the mansion of Park owned by the National Trust
and houses the headquarters of the Dartmoor National Park Authority.
On the moor above the town is Haytor Rocks a popular destination for day trips from all over the
local area.
